Not too long ago, I expressed my appreciation for healthcare professionals through Words of Thanks. Words of Thanks is a student-led nonprofit organization that provides a virtual platform for anyone to write letters of appreciation to healthcare workers and other groups of people in their area. No matter where you live, you can write a letter to a healthcare professional through this platform!

The process in which I took to write the letter was fairly simple. I used an online template from Canva to design my card. I then wrote a few messages to the workers and emailed it to a few hospitals. I loved this part because I believe that even one letter of appreciation can bring a smile to a doctor’s face who was in need of that happiness.

I really enjoyed this opportunity as I think it is important to send our thanks and appreciation to those who work so hard for the protection of others, especially now. If you can, I would highly recommend taking the time out of your day to write a letter!
