The Bird Rescue Center welcomes young people with an interest in wildlife and the environment to participate as Junior Volunteers. Individuals between 13 and 18 years old can play essential roles in our various programs. Our Junior Volunteers work and share most responsibilities alongside our adult volunteers.

There is a special Junior Orientation where interested teens learn more before making a final decision. The typical commitment is a 4-hour shift every week once the initial training is completed. This is an excellent opportunity to meet community service requirements for school, learn about birds and wildlife care, work as a valued team member, and have a great time throughout the year!
