Memory Pillows are special keepsakes which we offer to our Silverado families for bereavement support. Memory pillow volunteers make pillows from articles of clothing pick out by family. Clothing such as: dress, sweater, scarf, pants ect. The pillow filling and material will be provided by Silverado hospice. Each memory pillow is a one-of-a -kind treasure and a loving memento.
The process is as follows
Our social worker will deliver the clothing and materials to your home
We tell families it will take 2-4 weeks to be made
Our social worker will pick up the pillow when it is done or you can bring it to our office in Burbank
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this opportunity.
