Do you want to be a positive influence in the lives of children? Volunteer to assist with the after school program for children living at Ashby Lofts in Berkeley. We are looking for a volunteer to assist on Mondays from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. The volunteer will work in conjunction with the Activities Coordinator for Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) during the program. The volunteer’s tasks will include helping the Activities Coordinator to set up before the program and to clean up afterwards, provide homework help for children, facilitate arts and crafts and other creative activities for the children, and to play games and other fun activities with them. This is a fun opportunity to build volunteer hours, to be a positive influence in the lives of children, and to have a great time!
REQUIREMENTS:
– Background Check
– Must be at least 16
– Orientation or Training
– Volunteer orientation, forms and background screening
