Volunteer through various roles at the River City Food Bank

Help us serve more than 542,000 meals per year! River City Food Bank volunteers contribute more than 20,000 hours a year to stock food, prepare three-day food supplies, help with client intake, computer data entry and support administrative activities and education. There’s a role for everyone!

You can…

Assist our guests in receiving a 3-5 day supply of groceries
Help with prep and set-up of our Choice Food Distribution
Help with planning and support of our Empty Bowls event
Assist with our social media accounts and website maintenance
Take photos and get stories from our guests
Intern with our CalFresh Department
Assist in the office with administrative tasks and data entry
Help with community education (garden, cooking, etc.)
Help with grounds and maintenance
Volunteer at an in-take desk
Volunteer as a substitute for vacationing regular volunteers
