Pen pal for seniors

Hello! My name is Natalia Betzler. I am a junior in high school in the Bay Area. During quarantine I started this program called, Letters of Comfort. Our goal is for high schoolers and adults to connect with and create pen pal relationships with residents at assisted living facilities. Since March, we have sent over 500 letters to facilities across the United States. Each of our members writes two letters a week and I distribute them to various assisted living facilities. Once a resident responds, writers can send letters back to them and vice versa. We hope to connect as many residents as possible to our writers in order to help them through the pandemic and bring them joy.
