Put Faith in Action to combat food insecurity in your community as a Food Packing Assistant through Catholic Charities Emergency Food Distribution Network. Packing Assistants are responsible for filling food packages with the correctly allocated amount of items for home delivery and drive-thru pick-up.
Packing assistants are needed Tuesday and Thursdays, between 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Stay for a few hours or the entire shift, as your schedule allows.
This crucial role in the Emergency Food Distribution Network is compliant with COVID-19 social distancing measures: less than 10 volunteers gather at the site at a time and maintain 6+ feet distance apart from other volunteers and program participants, gloves, hand sanitizer, and cleaning supplies provided. Access to bathroom area with soap and water.
