Support immigrants with free ESL-based Civics classes, the Volunteer Translator will help immigrants move towards the goal of becoming a US citizen.
Training will be given to volunteers and location will vary from Pico-Union/Westlake, Norwalk, Burbank and/or other locations
Responsibilities:
Translate lessons during class
Translate orientation and assist in registration of students
Explain required CASAS & AACE assessments (Pre/Post Tests) to students
Communicate with Education Coordinator to ensure students understand lesson and material
