Website March Field Air Museum
Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the March Field Air Museum and its operations. Docents (volunteers trained in public contact) give guided tours, answer questions, and share information to help the museum’s artifacts and exhibits come alive. Volunteers also help fabricate exhibits, perform aircraft restoration work, support collections processing, perform office functions, greet visitors and provide information, staff special events and the research library, and assist with facility maintenance.
Sound interesting? We recommend that you plan to attend our next Volunteer Open House, an informal event where you’ll have the chance to speak with volunteers who work in all of the functional areas listed above. It’s also a great way to meet some really interesting people who are engaged in giving back to their community through the museum.
If you can’t make this date, we understand. Please feel free to download a Volunteer Application now (just click on the appropriate file below), and call Annie Lunetta at 951.902.5949 to learn more!
