Bake cakes for at-risk youth and foster children

We are looking for volunteer bakers in San Diego County who can bake, decorate, and deliver. Sign up to bake in your home as often as you like, it’s up to you.

Cake4Kids helps foster kids and at-risk youth feel special at least one day a year. We deliver free birthday cakes, cupcakes, cookies and bars to foster children and at-risk youth who wouldn’t otherwise have a birthday celebration. All volunteers bake in their homes and then deliver the magnificent birthday cakes to youth signed up with our organization.

All cake deliveries are made Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

As a teen volunteer there are a few requirements to follow:

• All volunteers are required to be 16 or older
• If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must volunteer as part of a team with your parent or guardian:
  • Your parent or guardian must be the primary volunteer
  • Your parent or guardian will be the sole contact for Cake4Kids and responsible for all phone and email correspondence
  • Your parent or guardian will be responsible for deliveries and quality of the baked goods
  • Both you and your parent or guardian need to attend volunteer orientation
