Each shift will begin with training and stocking the outdoor distribution space. Then you and a team of 3-4 other volunteers will manage the drive-thru service including client check-in and loading groceries into their trunk. Tents will be set up along with chairs. This is an outdoor distribution so dress appropriately for the weather (consider sunglasses, sunblock, rain gear, and dressing in layers as the weather may change throughout the shift). For safety, wear close-toed shoes.
All volunteers must be 16 years or older at the North County site.
