VOLUNTEERS MUST: Complete and sign our volunteer waiver form. It is preferred that you print and bring the form when you come, but if you do not have a printer and you must send it electronically, please send it to volunteers@marthas-kitchen.org
We suggest you wear a baseball cap or other hat to cover your hair. If you don’t wear something to cover your hair, then we will provide a hairnet for you to wear.
Please wear closed-toe shoes. No sandals. No flip flops. This is for your safety and the safety of those around you.
Please wear long pants or knee-length shorts, with shirts/tops that are modest and not revealing. Underwear should not be visible/exposed. Do not wear any apparel with potentially offensive language/pictures.

NEW Volunteer Schedule — Updated April 2020Monday 7:00 am – 11:00 am – Small Crews for Special ProjectsThe projects vary from cleaning, sanitation, to organization and assembly. This helps support our general operation and is of tremendous value to us.
Please arrive promptly at 7:00 am.
Tuesday – Food Prep and DistributionMorning Shift – Starts between 6:00 am – 8:30 am – Ends around 10:30 amThis is a very flexible time, where you drop in between 6:00 am to 8:30 am and leave when you want. IE: You may come as early as 6:00 am or as late as 8:30 am
End times vary, but we are typically done by 10:30 am.
Volunteers assist with cutting up fruits and vegetables, making sandwiches, sometimes stripping turkeys, and other food preparation activities in support of our operation.
Afternoon Shift 3:00 pm – 5:00 pmThis is a set schedule when we serve dinner meals at our facility.
Due to the current COVID restrictions, the building is closed to the public and we are handing out “to go” boxes, versus the congregate dining in our hall.
Please arrive promptly at 3:00 pm.
