Restore native plant communities in Bair Island

with Save the Bay

We don’t have any native wetland pigs wallowing in the shallows, but the Bay area has lent itself to some very interesting endemic species such as the endangered Salt Harvest Mouse. This mouse is a competent swimmer and it enjoys eating pickleweed! Come and learn about our unique landscape and help us restore our native plant communities to help support all of the interesting critters that call the wetlands their home.
